The dog park (part 2 of last post)



 

Twinkie

Yay! I'm so happy that we got to see the travel girl yesterday! I wonder why we're not at our house. We are at a really big building that does not look like our house at all. Elsa is really excited because there are lots of people. Soon the travel girl puts a leash on Elsa and me and we go into this weird gray thing that can go up and down soon we are going out the door into a car. Will we go to a scary place? Will they give me to someone else? Will we go back to our house?


Elsa



We just got into a car. Twinkie is scared (of course). We drive and drive until we get stuck in traffic and then a lady knocks on the window. I think she wants to be my friend. I bark at her a lot to get her attention but she just walks away. Next I see a man in a big truck. He is staring at me so I bark at him. He just looks confused. We drive on some bumpy roads until we get to this place.


Twinkie

I'm kind of scared because Elsa is barking so loudly. I see that we are at a place that you can run around. I'm not so scared. A man opens the gate and we go inside. I kind of like this place! I run around and play. I even go in this tube! Soon enough it is time to go home.


Elsa

That was fun! We have to go back now. 4 hours later: We are going back in the car, but we are going to a different place. I wonder if there is people to sniff and lick there?

We are going to a different place. It was a bumpy car ride there. We finally made it. This place is fancier then the other one. It has a pool. It has a trampoline. It even has a restaurant! I do not want to go in the pool because of what happened to me when I was little. This place is more scary than the other place because there are lots of people. Elsa is getting all the attention because she is not scared. I wish that I wasn't so scared.

Elsa

Wow! This place is so cool! Lots of people are petting me. I am licking and sniffing them. I met a really nice dog. We are now friends. I have a million friends. I'm friends with people and dogs. I wish that I could be friends with squirrels and cats. The travel girl puts me on a bouncy thing. I am making new friends right now. They are the owners of the nice dog. Twinkie wants to go home. I think I might want to go home too. I am really tired. Soon we go home. I think I'm going to take a nap. ZZZZzzz.

    Nice and entertaining. When we had our dog Pulgarcito, we used to travel with him to visit my granddaughter, my daughter , son in law and their dogs. It was fun to see Pulgarcito playing with bigger dogs.

Elsa drool challenge

I decided to write this blog post because my dog Elsa, always drools at food. Like this..... I am experimented with different foods to see which food would make Elsa drool more. The foods that I used were, dog chicken, Meat up treats, yogurt, and dog food. First was dog food. Elsa drooled a lot for this one! I was surprised for this one because Elsa has dog food every day, just plain dog food. If there was a scale from one to ten, with one being no drool, and ten being lots of drool, I think this one was 8 out of 10. Next is yogurt. Mauritius

 Hi! I went on a trip! I went to an island called Mauritius! Have you been there? It is an island next to Africa. It has beef! Let’s get started! From India, Mauritius is about 6 hours from Bangalore. I landed at about 11am, and the view from the landing was amazing! There is lots of palm trees and mountains. I stayed at the dinorobin beachcomber hotel. It had a amazing beach, with a cool view of Le Mourne ( a mountain ) . Breakfast kitty In Mauritius most people speak Mauritian Creole or French. I forgot to mention, but the supermarkets in Mauritius, are huge! There is lots of CANDY! There is not many chips though. I was happy when I saw the beef and cheese! There is not that much good cheese in India. Anyways I did lots of fun stuff!  I went to a ropes course/ hiking pace in the mountains. Nickel candy!?

Nickel candy? Or Chips!? Do you remember nickel and dime candy? I really wish it could still exist. Would you think it would be true if I said, it still exists? Well here is your answer… It does! When I went to the little local shop, Lulu’s, I found a ton of candies, chips, chocolate, etc, for only 5-10 rupees! 5 rupees is 6 cents  (USD) and 10 rupees is 12 cents (USD). Before I talk about what I bought, I will share a little bit of info about a very popular nickel candy.  Juicy fruit gum In l1893 Wrigley introduced Juicy fruit gum. In the early to mid 1900’s Juicy fruit gum  only cost a nickel for 5 sticks of gum. Starting at around 1960 it started to cost a  quarter for 5 sticks.
