My field trip
Yay! We are at the camp. It took 4 hours to drive. I was exhausted. We had to make 3 groups because only 15 kids could go on the tractor at a time. I was in the third group( which was annoying). I had to wait 2 hours until I could go on. The tractor ride was pretty cool though. We saw all the cows and the farms. There was lots of nature. Once we got to hotel. We got some juice. We had to wait another HOUR until all our bags got to the rooms. After that we got our roommates picked. It was 4 people in a room. The rooms were nice( I will explain more later). Then we got lunch. It was chicken and rice and fruit. I didn’t eat the fruit because we don’t know if it was washed with clean water. It was ok lunch. Then we had a break to go to the playground. Later we got to go to our rooms to relax for a bit. We had a big swing! In the middle of the room there was a hole in the floor. In the ceiling there was an opening so rain could go through and it would fall in the hole. Then we got to go to the swimming pool! It was big and fun. The water maintained without chemicals. After an hour we went back to our rooms. We took a shower……. With a bucket! It was weird. Also it was pretty fun. You just filled up a bucket, got some cups and poured the water on yourself. At least there was hot water. Then we saw the milking of cows. Lots of milk came out. Fact: the milk they serve is from the cows here. Then we got afternoon snack. When it got dark we went for a forest walk. It was a little creepy in the dark. We went on bridges without rails and the water was deep! I was so sleepy when it was time to eat dinner. We went to sleep at 9:30. I almost fell asleep at dinner! Good night………Zzzzzzzzz.
Day 2
Cockle doddle do! It was 5:30 when I woke up. I was so sleepy. We had some cookies and milk. Then we went to the game room and we did some rangoli. Then we had breakfast. After that we went to a greenhouse and saw the vegetables that they grow. They serve them at meals. There was a vegetable that had snake in its name and looked like a snake. There was a million red ants. We went to the outdoor games. We learned how to play cricket the old way with sticks. I played limbo and jump rope. Then we had lunch. We got ice cream! Yum. Then we went in the nice cool pool. We did some more activities and then dinner. We went on a tractor ride and went hiking. Soon enough the day was over. Snore! We woke up. It was the day we left. We ate breakfast. Then we went to the gaming room again. It was raining so hard. This time there was a small car that could take 8 people but also a tractor. We boarded the bus. Soon it left. Bye Baevu! Feelings: at first I felt a little homesick but then I got used to it. I was brave to be in a new place and do different things. My favorite thing was the pool. My least favorite thing was that it rained so we couldn’t have a campfire.
Whoa, what a trip! I got sleepy 😴 just reading about all that fun stuff
