India Travel pt.1
Hi! This week I went to the most famous monument of India! Clue : it’s 2 words
Did you guess it? It was the …
Taj Mahal!
This is the Taj Mahal! I’m going to kind of explain the “map” of the Taj Mahal and say some facts about it.
When you enter there is a main gate , which is very big. There is 4 gardens with trees and flowers in each. There is a long fountain in the middle. Tip: the best time to go to the Taj Mahal is in the early morning, because it’s less crowded, and not very hot. Taj Mahal is made of white marble. The estimated amount of marble used is 70,000 metric tons! If you shine a flashlight on the marble it’s translucent.
The Taj Mahal is huge! Inside you couldn’t take pictures but I will describe it.
There is 2 tombs for Shah Jahan( emperor) and his wife. They were really big and also made of marble. They were buried 7 feet deep! Behind the Taj Mahal is a river .You might think that the Taj Mahal is very big, it looks big on the outside but on the inside it is not very big. The Taj Mahal is not open during sunset on Friday, but there is a place where you can see it while the sun is setting. It looks very nice. Plus, if you ever go to the place where you can see it during sunset there will be a stray puppy! Write to me if you see it.That was what the Taj Mahal was like!
Rathambore
In Rathambore there is mostly safari places, and I went on a safari! It was a tiger safari, but unfortunately I didn’t see any tigers . It was still fun though! I saw a LOT of deer. There were non spotted, spotted, had antlers, didn’t have antlers. Fact: deer with antlers are boys. Another fact: Tigers eat deer! The safari was 3 hours. It’s very fun to ride in the jeep, but you have to be careful because it is very bumpy and there is no seatbelts! I saw monkeys, a crocodile, peacock’s, etc.
What we were supposed to see. It was raining, so I think that’s why the tigers didn’t come out .
Even if you don’t see any tigers it is fun to drive in the mountains and see the nature!
The end ! I hope you liked this post and maybe one day you will go to these places!
Stay tuned for part 2 !
Cooooooooool!
